Birth Doula Services

I aspire to help you prepare for your birth, and to be present during your birth, to provide you and your partner with comfort, relaxation, positioning and empowerment. From our meetings pre birth I can help to facilitate your birthing plan to the best of our abilities. I am not a clinical professional and will not make any medical decisions or provide medical advice; but I clarify what your medical professional team is saying and provide alternative options and an experienced point of view.

  • Introductory meeting to see if I am a good fit for your birthing team

  • 2 in person prenatal visits to educate you and your partner and to write a birthing plan

  • Available for questions via text/email/phone from time of hire

  • One postnatal visit with home cooked meal to celebrate your birth

  • On call starting at 38 weeks

  • Continuous support during labor and delivery

    • Emotional and physical support

    • Comfort measures

    • Positioning

    • Encouraging involvement from your partner and support people at his/her/their comfort level

    • Ease and facilitate communication with medical professionals

    • Communication of your birth plan
